What is over priced? It looks like it is in pretty good condition.

I don't know----It just seems like something is missing when you have one of these signs that are supposed to be holding objects like grease guns! Beautiful condition, it just leaves me with the thought that something is missing! JM2C

Couldn't agree more. I would drive myself crazy looking for all the grease guns to fill the display.

Wonder what it would be worth if it was a complete display?

To me that one is to plain looking. If you could find all the tools/grease guns that go with it that would make more appealing.

If it was Hi-Speed, Gulf, etc it would be drifferent story.

I have passed up three Hi-Speed ones over the years. frown If I get in the mood to get one it will higher priced then years ago. Buy it when you see it cheap!!!

I agree with racecop, this is not a sign, this is a grease gun rack and without the grease guns. I wouldn't touch it unless it was very cheap. Without the guns, it look like a piece of porcelain with a lot of clips on it.

The first thing out of any of your friends that come over to look at your collection will be "What it it" not 'What a great sign that is".

I don't think its that much over priced but would be nice to get it for $400.....part of the fun would be doing what we do, collecting different grease guns that would fit in the clips....its a great piece of porcelain & i don't think this rack is very common.......fill it up with some guns & your friends will love it.....it would be a great display & the value you be worth much more......

I agree with roadrelics. I picked this one up by itself a couple of years ago with none of the products or guns. Within a year I had everything to fill it and it is one of my favorite pieces in my collection. It was fun to try and fill it and really not too hard to find the guns. There are a lot on ebay and if you shop around and are patient you can find them at reasonable prices. I have seen these in Texaco, Skelly, Richlube, Alemite, Signal , Gulf among others and personally I think they are under rated. As you can see they make a nice display when filled IMO. Gilmore made at least 4 different versions of this rack. I am looking for other Gilmore racks if anyone has one and is willing to sell it.
