I have a chance to pick up a Champion spark plug tester dated in the 30's and in working condition. The gentlemen says its red and this is the original color with the word Champion embossed in the housing. The view windows are clear and the cords are in tact with some minor surface scratches.Hes asking $100.00 and he sounds firm,is this too much? Is Red a color these came? is there more than one style?

If it's a clean working original from the 30's it's worth $100.00. If you like it price shouldn't matter. Post a picture if you can.
