Are the light manifolds the same in the Bennett 766 and 966?

Thanks,
Dave

This is a good question? I've got a 966 that's missing the manifold and was wondering the same thing. Anybody out there know?

Questions like this can easily be answered by having the part manuals that came with these two pumps. These parts manuals (they were in the box with the pump when it was delivered new) both are available on this page of my website:

http://www.petrolianacollectibles.com/bennett%20pump.htm

For your information the part number for the "See Gauge Body" is 746-N-401 for both the 766 and the 966. Actually it is the same for the 766, 767, 966 & 967. But not for the 756, 757, 956 & 957.

Having the Parts manual for your pumps is the same as having the Owners Manual in the glove box of your 1964 Mustang. They are the owners manuals for gas pumps.

The 766 and 966 are exactly the same, it's the 1000 series that is totally different.
I have them if anybody needs one.

I always thought that the 966 and 1066 were basically the same, what is the difference? I'm going to have to go check the tag on mine to be sure which one I actually have.
