Hello all.
I just wanted to let everyone know that all our decals are now printed with Soy-based inks.
According to the manufacturer, you should be able to clear coat over them with most of the commercially available BC/CC clears on the market. The new vinyl we are using is very thin, so it will hardly take any clear to smooth over the decals for a car-like final finish to you pumps and oil dispensers.
Please Note: You will need to steer away from Alcohol-based cleaners as they will dissolve the inks.
In addition, our decals will now arrive to you with a ‘carrier sheet’ to assist in the mounting process. This carrier paper is the same low-tack paper you have with vinyl-cut lettering.
