Was this made for a Shell island light with water. The shell is not put on with a set screw, it's all one part as the pictures show. And it's all brass. I believe it's a recent item, not old or made for Shell Oil Co.

I would agree that its not vintage. When you see a bibb washer you know you've usually got a renewable seat inside. Looks like a fancy sillcock. Just my opinion as a retired plumber.
