Hi, Just curious. I have an Erie 129b pump that I have redone in Gulf (it was originally). I don't see too many of these pumps around. Can anyone tell me what era are they from? It has a stair-stepped top to it and stainless strips down the beveled corners. I would appreciate any info. Thanks, Greg

Jack's book shows a date of 1937 and that it possibly was specifically made for Gulf.

If you haven't picked up Jack's books, they are well worth the cost, IMO.

...these pumps WERE made for Gulf, to their particular spec's...Gulf used these pumps until the mid-1950's, and I'm pretty sure Erie (and the other manufacturers of GOC spec pumps) offered them for a while...

...PS - buy Jack's book...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Here is a picture of mine. It also has a pointed cover for the globe hole if you didn't use a globe which isn't in the picture
