Hi Guy's I have a Marland Island Light, and I am curious of a fair value. I am looking at picking up a couple new pumps I just ran across, and was thinking of selling this. It's a colum style with a silvaking harp. It has the five lights on top and one facing down under the shade. It has air and water outlets one each side. At the top of the colum it has multipul Marland symboles going around the top radius. The shade that is on it is a little rough, but I have another one that is stright with a some surface rust spots. I was thinking of posting it here, and or e bay. I tried for ever to post pictures but I cant get them to resize. Thank's for any help......

I have one of those also. I think the fact that it doesn't say Marland and just has the triangle logos raised around the neck of the pole hurt the value. It could be argued that they are Conoco triangles and not Marland. I think it's Marland as the cross bar in the raised logo is narrow like a Marland logo, the cross bar in a Conoco triangle logo is wider.
I bought only the pole 5+ years ago for 250-300. If you decide to sell Ric Besgar (duececoupe) is a local for you and would be a good candidate for a buyer.

Nice looking post. I'd say those prices are about right. I paid similar money for my Revere brand island light column post, which I then found the Revere porcelain canopy light/harp and spots.
