Does anyone know what kind of nozzle should go on an Erie 71? I looked on the Gas Pump Heaven website and there are a couple of kinds of nozzles. I'm 99% sure it needs a 1" fitter, but I don't know if it needs the nozzle with the straight neck (N-BN2) or the bent neck (N-AL-A). And as always -- still looking for a milk glass top for this pump. Any help would be appreciated.
Chris

That's too easy Cp ! GPH is not a good information site.
VERY few pump companies ever made their own nozzles. They used whatever they got the best bulk deal on.

Hi Chris. I just bought info on my 81 from Jack Sim and it has that info on your pump also. Mine takes a Buckeye 1" nozzle and hose with either a solid or flex nozzle as does yours. They offered a 1" and 3/4" in black rubber hose. Can't tell by my pics, but I put an original nos 1 in. cloth hose with Buckeye on mine. That info is right off of Erie's parts list. Like everyone has said tho, It's not a big issue what nozzle you decide to use.

In all my research of pumps and in this case nozzles, I really don't believe that any pump company made their own nozzles.

Most Tokheim nozzles were made by OPW, etc.

Small pump companies would go to a petroleum equipment company and purchase nozzles, if the order was large enough they would engrave the name of the pump company on the nozzle. Companies like Tokheim or G&B would order nozzles with their name on them.

I once had a nozzle with the name Fry on it, and at the present time I have a nozzle with Southwest on it, both are brass nozzles.
