i got a call today on a pump they say it made by rapiddayton but it a clockface

i tried looking in the new book nothing there--only one i know is a visable

any idea or pic --thanks ruben

Ruben, maybe I'm not understanding what you are saying, happens a lot too me. Looking at Jack's books, I see a ton of Dayton's with clock faces or at least what I consider to be "clock faced" pumps. In the first book starting on page 147. In the second book they start on page 127. I'm not up on my pumps, so maybe my terminology is wrong and the pumps aren't "Clock faces"?

On page 150 & 151 in Jacks first pump book there are some Rapidayton pumps. I have a Rapidayton 1420 like on page 151.

Around here I have found/bought several Rapidayton Model 50's, heavy cast iron. Some w/o the globe tower & only 1 w/ a 30 gal dial, the rest had 20 gal dials.

I don't know how many guys have come up to me, tell me they like to book, but that I forgot to put the Fry pumps in the book. Just like the above I go on and tell them to look under Guarantee.

I also tell many guys that they treat the book like a Playboy mag, they go straight to the pictures, ignoring the front of the book. Again, I have received many questions about pumps and pump companies and I tell them to look at the front of the book for their answers.
