Yes, A bad day at blackrock. There are many scenes of those visibles. The one scene Robert Ryan was gassing up his car and you can see the gas getting lower in the cylinder.

Anyone remember/know what kind of pumps were in the 1972 classic Deliverance staring Burt Reynolds and John Voight? If memory serves me right, they were filling up the international carryall just before or during the unforgettable dueling banjo scene. A true classic.....

I watched the 1941 Abbott and Costello film last night called Hold That Ghost. In one scene they are gas station attendants. Nice pumps in that one. One of my favorite service station scenes is with the Three Stooges. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWKiEm5M5fE&feature=youtu.be

I am a fan of the movie "O Brother where art thou," and watch it many times. The last time I spotted a mistake in a gas station scene.
The movie takes place approximately in the mid-1930s, during the time of the building of the Tennessee Valley Authority.
After Delmar becomes a frog, Everett and Pete are driving Baby Face's car and they stop at a gas station.
The scene starts on the left side of the station where you can see the two visibles, then moves around to the front of the station. Now you can see what is on the right side of the visible. It is a 1947 ECO Model 98 Tireflator.

I didn't take time to review the thread in case it was already mentioned, I always liked the movie Lilies of the Field. Wayne 70 at the restaurant where Sidney Poitier eats breakfast while the Nuns go to Mass. Brady
