Alan I think your 39 would look good with the doors & top in the green & the sides in white. Then if you want red on it put the red around the windows on the doors. Just a thought smile

Go to:

http://www.gaspumps.info/gallery/main.php

In the box that says "Search the Gallery" type:

associated

Then click your Enter button on your keyboard.

You'll get some Associated globe and pump pictures.

Also try another search in the same place for:

flying a

That will show a different bunch of pictures
Not all the pumps pictured may be historically correct

Ithink for a tall 39 all green would be correct. I had a Wayne 60 that was originally Associated and it was all green. Here is the A-1 Jim mentioned.

Here is an original A-38.

Here is another original porcelain pump. It is a National 10. I forgot to mention that the A-1 ana A-38 above are porcelain pumps also.

Those A-38s are awsome. I realy like the cream and green better than the all green.

THAT CREAM REALLY ADDS ALOT TO THE A38.
IT MAKES YOU LOOK TWICE- THE BLACK BOTTOM
ALSO BREAKS UP THE GREEN AND ADDS TO THE
BEAUTY OF THIS PUMP.
