Does anyone have a model 585 Wayne stationlighter (the harp type), that has a readable ID tag? When I stripped the paint from mine, it took the lettering off but I can kind of make out the lettering. What I want to do is to have DB make a water transfer decal to put on it but he needs a photo to go by that shows the spacing and the font. His are both painted over and I would bet that most of them are!! If anyone has a readable one, I could sure use a photo of it!!!! Thanks---KEVIN Heres a photo of the type I'm talking about

Mick--You wouldn't want it, its already painted white and just needs to be put together. Going on my Wayne 60S!

Don--Thank you very much! It is indeed appreciated! I can make out the shadows of the lettering on my old tag and I believe they would all be the same as the only number on there is the Patent Design number. Otherwise it just has info about the Wayne Company. I sure hope this does it because it will really finish off this restoration. Thanks again----KEVIN
Kent--Keep in touch with DB and we'll see if we can get some made!!

I had this tag reproduced at my local trophy shop. They used black adonized aluminum and engraved the lettering from the copy supplied by oltoydoc. It seems that this is as close as I'm going to get, so what are your thoughts? If any other Old Gassers want a copy, I can get them made for $10 and I believe we can just send them in a regular envelope.

Better & longer lasting than a Decal. Great idea.

That should be No. 105,435. Not 105.435. Here is a reference to the Design Patent. http://www.google.com/patents?id=zFBqAAA...435&f=falseJack Sim

Nice catch Jack! I went to put the tag onto my stationlighter and she had made it about an1/8 inch too long, so we have to go back and get it remade. I will have her correct the error then and we should be set. I had missed that at first glance. Thank you---KEVIN
