Need a grille for a 40 GMC or Chevy truck or pickup.Doesn't need to be perfect

Those tend to be rather rare, even beat up ones bring more than I think they are worth. I've been look a while too, have a chevy panel truck. Good luck! tt

jim you know the gmc has the wide bars and the chevy has the smaller bars meaning the bars that go across--i got one for a 40 chevy truck--350.00
and i have whats left of my 39 gmc panel has missing bars-

It's for a 40 GMC flatbed truck.My buddies building a rat rod and I'm sure yours is probably to nice for what he's doing.I didn't know they were hard to find,maybe he will have to build something? thanks for all your comments,do you think the 39 would fit? he could make bars that go across

NOT EXACTLY SURE OF THE YEAR, BUT I THINK THAT IS THE SAME GRILL / FRONT CLIP / FENDERS THEY USED ON 40-41-45-46'S?

Doc, the truck you posted is 41-46 GMC. 40 is way different. I will look for some picture to post. I have a friend that has a 46 GMC that also needs a grille.

can't tell for sure but I'm guessing that is a panel delivery.Would the truck be the same

the truck and panel are the same it will work -- a 39 or 40 car grill will not work unless you fab to fit-i will takes some pics of what i have

thanks to all for your help,I showed him the pic of the panel and that is what he needs.It's going to be a rat rod flatbed so he's not looking for anything pricey

There is a 39-40 GMC grille on ebay now. But its pretty pricey.
