Came across this Whiting Bros station still open, not pumping gas. original owner him and wife still live in house in the back on old Rt. 66 in Moriarty N.M.

It sure would look good with about 6 Visible pumps sitting under the canopy.

When I was stationed at White Sands I stopped at that station a couple of times while cruising the state. Hadn't thought of that place in over 30 years, thanks for the photos and the memories that they brought back.

IT would be excellent if he could restore the big sign in the back ground. And do up in neon like it use to be. Very costly he said he, going to try and paint it in the spring.

don't have any pic's of any stations....but here are two cans that I picked up at the last Dixie show. quart can came from my good friend Dave "canasouras" Thompson and the two gallon from my friend Wayne Story. Notice that on the quart that Whiting is spelled buy using the car grill with the headlights with eyes. the two gallon for motor, again the headlights for the O.
Paddy Wanted. Billups, Ride with Rose, Har-V, LORECO, STANOCOLA, Pan Am (early), Hurricane, Evangeline, Canal, Gulf Coast, oil companies.
