After being in this hobby for many years, I've collected and sort of favor Penn Drake stuff. I never thought that I'd come across a "Blue Blood" globe or could afford one. I was recently talking to a young fellow not into petro collecting that mentioned that he had a globe in his attic. When he showed it to me, I about fell over! We made an easy trade for another article. He was happy and needless to say, I'm happier!
Anyone else have these lenses?

Stumbled into these lenses!

Wowser! You hit the jackpot there! Benjamin's book lists it at $2000 to $2500 and in that kind of condition, it should be worth quite a bit more!
Any chance you'd like to pick out 5 numbers and a Powerball for me???

Fueluser, yes there are notches on the plates and there are some chips. I'll be mounting them on a narrow body glass globe. When I get everything set up, I'll post a pic of it on my pump. Sam

The book says it was used from 1932 to 1940 so you should get a really nice screw base globe to mount them on. If you could find one, a really nice screw base hull would be fantastic! They really let more light thru with the open center and make a lens really stand out when its lit up!
Next you'll have to get a really rare pump restored to set it on! LOL
