I would like to know the rough time period that these Union Oil signs were used. The larger one on the left is a flange sign. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill

Approx. in 1930-1932 UNION PACIFIC & UNION OIL were in court over the use of the shape of Shield w/ Red & White stripes in the shield. UNION OIL lost the use of them, but was able to keep the shape & upper Blue area.

I was told smaller sign was used on company cars/trucks

See I just learned something. When I got into this hobby and seen the Union Oil Co. shields I wondered if they were connected to the Union Pacific. Question answered.
