Was wondering if this is an oil lubster? I think it is but have never seen one like this if it is. What would be the approx. age of this unit? Thanks, Bill

The only info I have on this company is that they advertised a hand pump that went into a wooden barrel containing oil around 1923.

It looks like the hole with the set screw would take a barrel pump like the ones that screw into the bung hole and you could drain back into the pipe sticking up. I have two of those pumps and I believe without looking at them you can slide the threaded piece off.

Following Jacks lead, That may have been a wooden barrel, upgraded to a metal tank. Now ya gotta find the rest of it.

The pipe sticking up actually moves back and forth like a visible pump handle would on the side of a visible pump. Maybe this info might help. Thanks, Bill
