If it wasn't for the background being cropped out, there are a couple pictures that look like FATW pix. Amazing!

OK I'm a modeler but how in the world do you get so much detail?!???!? When I saw the penny next to the tractor I was amazed at the size and the paint/weathering. Guy must have tons of patience and lots of time on his hands!

Rick, my thoughts exactly. Can't believe he can get such attention to the details using such a small sized "platform". Wait I've got it. He works in hollywood and the penny is really the size of a dinner table. Anyone buy that? Thanks for sharing Claes!!

I've had nmy eyes on that model for a couple of months now, glad you liked it :-) I dont know if it is photo shopped in any way.. but the details are truly amazing.
Btw, flickr has some 60+ pages of gas stations, many are very nice and some are nicely photographed or photo shopped also.

Wow....... that is truly in incredible model and beautiful workmanship. With all his attention to detail I"m surprised that he let the tractor wheels and tires slide.

What are you talking about Husky Bob???? The tractor is one of the most detailed parts including the wheels and tires. I can't believe how he got the rusted, weathered look. It even has oil stains around the oil pan! Unbelievable, the more I look the more I see!

It's a beautiful job but I was wondering about the tires too. Were hard rubber tires used on tractors between the time of steel wheels and pneumatic tires? I noticed the truck tires have tread or some what bald tires. I've just never seen hard rubber on a tractor?

I know they had hard rubber tires. As a kid we had an old,old Oliver and my dad would drive nails in the front tires to get steering traction.
