The cam pushes the spring (clapper rod) and drops off where it is bent to release the rod to hit the bell.
It looks like the reset rod assembly is missing....well part of it is there...LOL
I knew those fit certain Americans but I did't know they fit a Bennett....150????????

It looks close to being right...the bell should have a long shoulder type standoff and is mounted in the hole to the right...the clapper uses the cast part as a stop and should almost touch the bell after it is on....a real cheesy design takes a while to get it working right.

brad, took it apart last year, and figured i could use one of my others to get it together, but its slightly different. thunder.. im gonna get ya for that dick...sorry i spelt it RONG!! and joe thank you for the info. i have (had) three mechs.one i sold is the same as from my 132.looks newer.this one looks simpler, but of almost the same design, hence i assume it may be from something a little older.gonna post a couple pics tomorrow and see if we can identify the models they were in.
