Came across this lubester yesterday. Does it have any value? Lubesters don't seem to be worth very much. This one does say phillips on the handle but maybe that is the maker and not the brand. Going to try and catch the owner tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

Phillips Pump Company - not Phillips Gasoline Company.

I just sold one like this for $65.00.

Judging by the height of the spout and the size of the opening on the top of the tank, it would have originally been a Kerosene dispenser.

This size makes a great 'bookcase' if you cut out one of the large sides, remove the lower portion of the pumping unit and addsome glass/wood shelves to the inside.

It also allows the unit to sit up against the wall instead of jutting out into the room.

Later . . .

Jim

The Phillips Co. was located in Cincinnati. There is some evidence that some oil dispensers advertised by the American Pump Co. (also of Cincinnati) were made by Phillips.

Cool ty on the info. By the way went by today and it was gone! Living in the city sometimes isn't all it's cracked up to be.
