Is the texture of the back side of the sign rough, like sandpaper - or smooth, like the front? If it's rough, it's a new sign made by Ande Rooney. Thought you should know.

...of course the seller did not post my question in the auction description...I got this reply - after the sign sold for $90.08:

Did Texaco ever use an eleven inch sign as this was? If they did, I've never had the pleasure of seeing one....Dale
