Old Iron,
Posting pics isn't that hard, to check if you doing it right click on "preview reply" button right below the reply box. If it's right it will preview right. Nobody needs to know how long it took to get it right...... Looking forward to seeing that deep rock station! Take care! tt

Hi Ed

Did I manage to get to just you or did I post it for the general forum? I have figured out how to reply to messages I receive under MY STUFF.

Simple station but lots of cool items around it. Is that Doc's truck in the background?

Having never lived out in the west when Deep rock was around I really can't comment on their stuff much . When I was researching my own book in 1982 , I had a wale of a time as Deep rock had become Kerr- Mc gee by then . I do know that the history of K- M was frought with problems and accidents . meanwhile thank you for helping me fill in the gene pool for gasoline history ! Ed Shaver

Thanks itsagas for posting the picture. Now I can fill in with more information on the station.

The picture was taken in 1958. I think that station was in operation prior to 1955 when I understand KM bought Deep Rock.In any event I understand the KM name was added to Deep Rock stations about 1960.

Tall pumps, short boy!! Jimmy is 12 or 13 years old in that picture.
