I just purchase a G&B 176 Tall ten Gallon. Any help would be great, I need skins and base. My question is the skins are reproduced, can you pick up skids that are original or should I just buy the raw sheet metal and get everything cut out for them.Where would be a good place to buy the rods and do I need to also buy the door panels. I stripped the pump today and it looks like it would not be that hard to start from scratch but would like some help to figure out what is best to restore this. you can reply to this or email me at rmcfeely@neo.rr.com
thanks bob

Repo skins DO NOT have embossing like originals do. Post a picture to answer many questions. Long/short door, front/side access door etc Meas. diameter @ bottom of cylinder casting & base to get correct skins.

Bob, I would post here looking for the originals. The repos as DB said do not have the stamped steel rings around the skins. The originals look a whole lot better than the repos. Base is the same as the regular 10, do not have one at the moment to measure for you but sure someone here does.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.
