...ain't nothin' "too far away" - we got a guy on Oldgas looking for pumps to 'top off' a container in Atlanta, to ship home to Sweden...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

T C:
Don't give up. I spent a year-and-a-half looking before I found mine.
It was listed on the web somewhere. The guy had miss-typed his phone number and I had to do some digging to find out the right area code. Wen I finally got ahold of him he said he hadn't had very many calls (none, I bet).
I had to make a run from Michigan to Alabama to get it. My buddy and I left after dinner on Thanksgiving day and got back that Sunday night.
Now if I could just break out some $$$$ to work on it . . .
Later . . .
Jim

Jim, your panel is cool. It is my favorite body style and a GMC too. Is it a 56 or 57? Here are my two GMCs.

Matt:
It's a 1956 - with all the chrome trim on the front end. Well, that is except the little pieces that go between the headlights and the 'mustache'.
I esp. love the 'Dagmar's'! LOL

Jim, if you are talking about the small ribbed panel below the turn signal then your panel is a 55. The early 56s were 55s sold as 56s. 56s did not have that ribbed panel. You can tell by your serial number. If there is a Y in it then its a 55. A X is a 56, T a 57 and S for 58.

The 67-70 chevy 1/2 ton panels are on a long wheel base frame. 1970 was the last year they made them. They are still realy cool. A neighber down the street has a nice 68 panel.
