Hey, I have an idea... ya'all each send me a dolla an I'll put it here in Richmond Virginia (Land that Time forgot ) since we have several old service stations in the Downtown area of Richmond I'll re-ercect the plce and have everybody thats passin through Richmond on the way to Charlotte or Baltimore and we can have decent coffee , I make decent coffee and I'll give tours of the old remaining stations . How bout that ? Ed Shaver

I know where there is one sitting here in Kansas for only 1,300.00 obo - if this one sells for that price I will snap it up in a heartbeat. Funny thing is this one I know of has been sitting on a main highway for about 20 years for sale and no one wants it.

TRAVIS,,,YOU SHOULD SNATCH THAT UP...THEY ARE WORTH FAR MORE THAN THAT....IT MUST NOT BE IN ANY CONDITION AT ALL FOR 1300.00. NO ONE IS TOUCHING MINE FOR ANYTHING CLOSE TO THAT...SOMEONE WHO WANTS ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE WORTH...

Here it is, the owner said 1,200.00 for it. It has been for sale for about 20 years. He pointed me to 2 more in a farm not too far away - stopped by there and talked to the owner of them, they want 900.00 for theirs. Either your price is WAY to high or I have won the lotto and do not know it yet! In time I will buy one and restore it but I can not do that right now - like most people!

Not that I can see - it will fit on a low boy - the owners told me they can bring it to me on a trailer they own for about 200.00 and that is how these were moved when they salvaged them originally.

ours is really good structure wise, ive had 2 in the past 2 years given to me but after spending 2 full days cleaning one out ,we found the lower frame had rusted away from the walls ,which made it impossible to move,,and you have to look at where they have been added on to also, this takes away a lot of the stability and support.....its the same idea , do you restore a rusty and run over wayne 50 showcase or do you step up and buy one a lot better for a little more money....gary the diners were delivered on flat bed trucks in the 50s from wichita to all over..they have tow hooks already installed
