I have a metal globe and need a snap ring to be able to put a lense in the other side. Any ideas? Anyone have one?

Before there were repo's, I used chain link fence bottom wire. Bent around a 5gal bucket, then cut to length. Not as much tension as orig. [safer for lenses].
