DC - A sorta funny and similar related story. A few weeks back I opted to drive up to Amistadi's Place in Mass (He, A reputed sign buyer/dealer/ebay seller).
Anyway, after loading up my 5' porc CALSO button sign, He hands me one of the same Sinclair Aircraft signs looking all rough/scratched/chipped...anyway he said some guy paid $2,500.00 for it on ebay and when he realized that it was a
repop the seller wouldn't refund his money. The sign is now mine (for free!)
as Amistadi gave it to me. Interesting if true. DOc @ The American Garage West
