...if ever there was a 'pig-in-a-poke' this is it...seems like the guy would do better to drag al of the stuff out and start piecing it together, to see how many 'complete' pumps he has...seems like a headache (and an overpriced one at that)...I'd rather buy three NICE pumps with the money...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I see where the guy has stated in the listing that he has the lot advertised locally for $8K. Also, take note that he is keeping 5 complete pumps and any visibles. Looks like a way to get rid of a lot of "rust" at "Barrett-Jackson" type prices...LOL.

I have talked to this guy and it is a boat load of rust. If someone had alot of time, you could have some expensive rusty metal. I would agree with Dick. I know a guy that works at a scrap yard and gets parts galore. He then brings them home and sells at his house. I am going to check out the 36B tops. I may start to build a tree here also. LOL. Oh, I am saving money for that auction starting tommorow.
Phil
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

Any of you guys close to this dude should keep in touch with him. IF they do not sell they might end up seeing a 30 yard dump bed. Too bad so many are missing doors!
