I am not a can guy but based on the shape of the "P" in Polly and the style of the tail feathers this can does not look like the originals that have been posted on this site.
Just my 2 cents.

My money is on fake fake fake. Wrong feathers, No gloss of paint, same little town that earlyman35 lives in Marin county. I am not going to be the ebay cop on this one but the bidders should be warned.Ted

The can in question is pictured below. Everything everybody has said is correct. One other thing I noticed that I have never seen before is an extra border of black and white around the entire parrot logo. Compare to the 2 originals pictured below the fake.

Hi I emailed high bidder who I think has another polly can- asked him to compare to his other can-- this one also has a white band around the Polly Banner- Im comparing to a 5q can- thanks don
