do you know what the general ethyl globe sold for? also curious as to what the globe in box #179 was...between shell and texaco...

Bob,I did buy a couple items,I'll post in buy's of the week.The General globe was a single lens in original body $1800+ buyers prem. the blue body globe was a Richfield "Gasoline of Power" purchased by our friend John Clay. It's gonna be in the mid 80's today in the PNW.Heading for the lake,I'll post some more tonite....Tim

Frank,Yes this was the auction in Montesano.The gentleman was a collector long before alot of us,and before alot of members on this board were born!lol Someone said he was stashing stuff as far back as the early 70's.A lot of Mobil stuff appeared to be new or NOS,like he may have cleaned out a bulk plant at one time.

Sorry I missed it... but I do plan to be at Sea-Bash-08 this Saturday morning at Don and Lynns in Seattle. How were the prices in Montesano?? High/Low?? and do you know how much the 32 Ford Roadster went for??
