I wondered what that looked like today.

CHUCK,THAT IS EXACTLY WHERE IT IS.THANKS FOR THE REPLY AND THE OLD PICTURES.THEY ARE AWESOME.WE TOOK THE PICTURES SATURDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS.MY DAD WAS RAISED IN WINSLOW AND LEFT AT A YOUNG AGE TO JOIN THE ARMY.MY GRANDPARENTS LIVED THERE ALL THEIR LIFE.I GREW UP IN TULSA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AREA AND STILL LIVE IN FORT SMITH.MY PARENTS LIVE IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AND I HAVE TRAVELED HWY 71 SINCE I CAN REMEMBER.ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO THE I-540 EXTENSION BYPASSED ALL THESE SMALL TOWNS AND EVERYTHING GOT PRETTY QUIET.THE STATION AND GIFT SHOP ALONG WITH THE TOWER ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC BUT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE STILL LIVES CLOSE BY.STILL HAVE GREAT MEMORIES CLIMBING THAT TOWER FOR YEARS.THANKS AGAIN FOR THE ADDITIONAL PICTURES.MARK
