I missed the July POTM (marine versions) by a few days. Nevertheless, I especially wanted to thank Curt "Poorman" Cragg for all he did for me to be able to enjoy this Sunset Marine pump. Curt found this pump in March at a garage sale, which he posted in a BOTW forum in March. I'm reposting his "as found" picture. Knowing I like Wayne Boyle-Dayton cut 83s, he offered it to me. Curt recommended restoration by wizard craftsman Willy Brown in Carpenteria. Willy just completed the pump and did his usual fantastic job. Pogo provided the lenses, T-way provided the decals, Seth Robbins (Vics) provided the globe ring, and Ron Scobie provided the hose. I'm really pleased to acknowledge all these great people involved in this hobby. Al Barrows

Hey, great pump. It is very good to have a friend that will watch out for you knowing that you would like the pump. Good deed Curt and a great looking pump to display. Keep up the friendships and help look out for everyone.

Thanks, Phil

Super nice Al!

Glad to see that my garage sale find made it to a good home.

Can't wait to see the whole Sunset station when you get it done.

Al,
Great pump. It's not too late to post it in POTM. The next POTM doesn't start until the 21st.

I don't post on these topics all the time, but just wanted to say that it all looks great. I love pumps just as I do signs and globes. Poorman, the Sunset looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
