Hi everyone..I had a cool idea and cleared it with Jim. We are starting a new thread every Month and running through the alphabet A-Z of quarts. I betcha we will see some cool quarts and Jim can snag the pictures for the oil can album. Look forward to your participation and remember to post one quart at a time so Jim can put them in the album (group shots are hard to edit for the album). This Month are the A's -Any Quarts starting with A. If you dont know how to post them email Me or T-Bone or Dwainey or any of the Gas Geeks that know how to post. Here are some to get started.
This Amalie Motorcycle quart is a Composite.

This Archer is Metal crimped seam from the 40s

Archer outboard composite.

Aero metal crimped seam late 50s

Ace Wilflo metal crimped seam

Hey Hubba,
I like that Amalie can.

Good idea with the A-Z month by month. I hope you get lots of participation.

Last I looked at the can album most of the cans pictured were mine. I took individual pics of about 330 cans, put them on a CD, and sent it to Jim. I see a few other pictures have come in, but not nearly enough.

We don't care if the cans, signs, pumps, and globes are common or rare. We want as many people to participate as possible. There are alot of guys that check on what we post everyday without posting themselves. We need those guys to step up and share their collections and knowledge with us. Come on guys, join the fun!
Bob

What would be even more funny is to see you and my dad together in a 55 gallon drum. Lets keep the digital cameras away from that, we have enough antiques on this site. HAHA
