Sorry i am starting globe of the month for Bob (lastgas) 2 days early. It is going to be 12.5" globes and smaller. Roger has started posting them in the thread 11 3/8 inch metal globes so if you need help posting pictures just e-mail them to me. There are plenty of small globes out there including the 12.5 glass bodies. Notice in one of the pictures i posted for Roger the tag of the patent. I will let Roger tell the story. Thanks in advance!
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

GREAT GLOBES! Thanks JJ for kicking things off this month, and thanks to Roger, Russ, and Rex for submitting the pictures. I've always liked the "little" globes and the ones shown here are great!

This is my only 12-1/2 inch globe. It's relatively plain, but I've never seen another.

Here are a few small globes from my collection. Here's the familiar Gulf 12.5" globe. Very common globe, but still looks great. American Gas globes are usually found on 15" metal bodies or 13 1/4" gill bodies. This is the much harder to find 12 1/2" version. The "Torch and Oval" logo has always been a favorite of mine. I picked this one up a couple of years ago. Now if I only had a "Utoco" globe to display next to it.....
