Okay, I didn't have as many photos of this station as I thought I did, but here are a few more. I thought this might have been a Pure station at one time based on the blue and white pump, but I'm not sure, anybody know? There was a coat of red paint under the blue and white as well.

Thanks for posting the additional pictures!

Looking in the restoration book, the paint scheme jives with Pure Pep from 1955-61 or Pure Firebird from 61-70. Or, it could have last been Union 76 Regular from 70 to the 80s, after the buyout. The red underneath could be the pump's factory paint, or from a previous branding.

Looks like someone stole it's friend... I bet there was a Pure Premium pump next to it.

Keep up the great pictures, guys!

Thanks for the reply Wes... I thought it might be Pure but I'm still new to the world of petroliana so I wasn't certain. Did you still want me to email the photos to you?

Scott,

Since you posted the pics, that's even better than emailing them. Thanks, and keep 'em coming!

I found this old G&B 86 on a recent road trip in Iowa. It's been at the same location since the 40's and still pumps gas. I'm going this weekend to pick it up. It's still out there!

Nice find Coops... amazing that that pump has been in the same spot for 40 years and not been grabbed by another collector yet!

Andy I love that German pump!
