Thought I would share pics of my recently completed Tokheim lubar, what a great way to display quart cans.

Cool, very cool..now if you could find/afford about 20 of them you could put all you cans in them. In the case of some big can collectors they may need 200 or so..LOL do the doors open and slide in or do they come right off??

I like the ones Larry does, Ohio oil , yours looks good , and it does a great job displaying your cans , but these that premopetrol does are dinomite with rollers on the bottom that you can't see and decals on the doors, hes doing an Associated now for a friend of mine with rare decals on the side, my friend didn't want the doors so that helped with the cost some . when I git pictures of it I'll show them . but heres one that he sent me to show Bob.

Ohio Oil,
Looks Great. Original items are getting harder to find.
Larry's are a good copy of the original. BUT anyone can have a repo. I like the old stuff.

Dwain: Is the light shade and pole original or did you add it? It sure adds to it, very nice.

Maybe I am missing something, The red one looks like a oil display only item which OHIO was trying to show us. I have never seen anything like it before, and a few others probably haven't either. The other ones shown look like converted gas pumps, even if they are factory items they still resemble pumps. Try converting a lubebar into a gas pump by changing the doors, i think it might be tough to do!!

The lights are original , differnt areas of the country they were different, but now you can't find the originals so Larry has found a guy that manufactures them , the displays were just pump tops and bottoms with two turn backsides, the international side made this still and the tokhiem side made ones with the A-62 top that had add glass in them , VEEDOL 10/30 MOTOR oil, was one , Seaside another, Texaco, and many others, they came with casters so you could push them out to the curb,

Thanks for the info Dwain. I didn't know if you could tell in the pics, the model I have has four rotating panels instead of the two you posted about, with no casters. I reckon with the ability to add lock cylinders on mine this model would have been kept on the island 24/7.

Just added my email address, so if anyone has info feel free to let me know. Thanks again Dwain, didn't realize I had that feature turned off.
