I am considering the purchase of a Fry 5 gallon and for shipping purposes, need to know the overall height. If it is less than 8-1/2 feet, it will fit into a Beltmann truck.

I ship these on Beltmann all the time but lay them on a long pallet that I build. Last one went to Longview,TX. Build the support correctly and the cylinder will not be damaged. I will be shipping a G & B 176 in the next week. That pump is a little over 8ft. 6inches, as I measured it today to start on the pallet. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Around 9'3". The best option is take the cylinder and pipes off, then it will fit, Or the base and pump works.

The pump seller measured it and it was 8 feet 4 inches. It does not have the adapter plate on the top that the globe attaches to. The pump is in OH and I am TX; won't be able to remove the bonnet and cylinder prior to shipping.
