Would anyone be able to give me an approximate value on this pump? Other side in similar condition. Thanks, Ron.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Ron, Wes is on the money. Check that it has the top plate and original globe holder. Mine were missing and it took a year to finally get both pieces. See my question about Tokheim light fixture in the General Petroleum Discussions to see a photo of mine in North Star colours. Cheers, Don.

Thanks Wes and Don. Seller is asking $2800 for it so he seems quite off the mark. Had a look at your pump Don and it looks fantastic. BTW - tins are on their way for re-lidding.

In my opinion $2500 Canadian for a clean rust free, straight Tokheim 36B that is complete isn't a bad price.
I see them bringing 1000-1500 in the US all the time. Factor in 25% exchange rate, 12% sales tax at the border. I just paid $500 USD to ship a pump from California to Washington via NAVL.
Even if you had to pay $2800 and it's a pump you like...buy it. In 6 months a year it'll seem like a good deal. I have never regretted overpaying for something I have wanted. You never overpay...you just bought it too soon. Eventually prices catch up and exceed what you paid. Tokheim 36's are a desirable pump and good clean ones are getting tough to find.

$2800 is ok if it's 100% complete and all you have to do is take it apart, paint and put it together, but we all know you can spend a lot time and money running around picking up parts.. besides 36B's are very common...nice though when done. In your picture Ron, it looks like $1500 to me from here..

That's the same one that was on Craigslist for months here in Scottsdale Arizona for $1,150. It looks like some one is trying to make a quick flip. Here's the photos of it from Craigslist.
