Did Veltex actually have this grade of gasoline and logo?

I know that decaled globes exist for Veltex Aviation, or at least they do in old photos.

Yes they did, they cheaped out and used decaled flat glass for both the Aviation Ethyl and for Veltex Ethyl globes (in two color variations), as well as used the decals on the pumps. I have pictures of both logos at stations.

I hope these are visible, it took a bit of effort and high dpi scans to extract these from small original photos. I'm pretty sure they are Idaho locations, but it would take some digging to say where. I'm posting these images as info for the forum, not for copy, I own these so please respect that, thanks much

...nice pics...the logo on the second pump has an Ethyl burst instead of the winged propellor - did they offer two grades of Ethyl, or was the product just rebranded?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I don't really know about the fuel, the advertising was for two different ethyls, ethyl and aviation ethyl, my guess is it was the same, ?
