Has anyone ever seen an Esso sign like this? Sorry for the debris in front of it. It is porcelain, about 6-7 feet by 2-3 feet. Notice it has the Ethyl emblem in the bottom left corner. I thought it looked pretty cool and was thinking about trying to buy it. Brent

Doc, Is your "Esso" book pretty inclusive of all Esso signs? I was thinking it might be a tough one. Brent

gasoildude, I'm working on it. It is part of a large lot of stuff, I won't know for a week or so.
BBQ, if I get it it's staying in my collection. Where did you find yours? Any idea what it's worth? It would be helpful in my quest.
Brent

Man, those signs are Texas all the way. Humble. I'm sure that is where you found it, In Texas. I'm drivin' down there tomorrow dude and there is nothing you can do to stop me 'cause I know where it is !!!!! I'm just kidding !!! I have only seen two in my hole life - mine and the one that you are studying on. I'd get it if I were you and if you ever want to sell it. I 'd give you $2600 for it without a second consideration. I payed $1800 for mine about 5 years ago, and was glad to do it. Get it. And sell it to me........ Dave

Good eye Rex! You are correct, but the Magnolia is rough and welded to the frame. Also has a 4" hole in the center with a hub, looks like it was used for a wheel of some kind! What a shame. Thanks for the info... Brent likes Rex's knowledge

I found these two at the the recent New Braunfels, Tx swap meet.... great gloss, but plenty of holes. The old rancher who was selling had turned them around and used them to repair his barn. It pretty well protected the display side.
