About 4 ft tall and has the back support to stand on its own. Heavy cardboard and is in good shape except for the middle where it folds, the right hand corner has a small issue. I know it is from the 50's...I have not seen one in a while and would appreciate a retail value...looking to buy, not resell. Sorry I cut off the top of his head in the photo...Thanks, guys...appreciate any help.

This looks like the same one as the eBay auction that's listed right now. 191363244419

It's not worth anywhere near the ebay listing so walk far away and save your money. You'll find a complete unhung version for far less money.

These aren't particularly rare as I've seen them in Christmas collections in Antique stores. I know it's alot cheaper value than what he wants that's for sure! With the small size of the Texaco influence on the piece I think maybe $60 for a used piece. Maybe double that for a complete holiday kit. I'll look in my Texaco book and see if they show any reference.

Last one I saw go at auction, (local) went for a little over $200... (a couple of years ago, at a Chehalis Auction)

But, too often we are "small town yokels"....

So something relating to Christmas... Often, makes us reach for our wallets... LOL

Thanks guys...Appreciate the opinions. I know he is waaaaay more into it than that. But, maybe I have some bargaining material for him. It is not high on my list..but, we don't see lots of Texaco stuff around these parts anymore.

I looked at the Tour With Tecaco book and saw the other one, but not this one. Thanks again all.....

If I run across another one for a reasonable amount I'll try to remember to pick it up. I typically pass on these Santa advertising displays as there are a ton of them from the 50s & 60s.

I found the larger 6ft listed in the old Texaco book for $250. It has a larger Texaco sign prominent in the gift bag.

The holes were used to put string/wire or other attachments device to attach it to the sign pole out on the driveway or other location....
