Morning all! Warm up is coming Larry! This was just a warning from "Mother Nature"! Cold and overcast here too. Heres a neat picture from this morning! A lower cloud was catching the suns rays, making it look like it was "on fire"! Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN

Hey Larry its the same here and I think its warming up! Golf course still closed due to snow and downed trees. Plenty of clean up to go still. But it will be 70 tomorrow so we will be to "normal" soon. looking like a great day OG.

Just today, as a follow up to our snow storm; there have been reports of bears and bobcats entering the city for some warmth. Here's a surprising neighbor to find in your backyard tree! http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/bl...rvoir-1.2764346And it cuddled up near a local politicians yard.

Same cool dreary morning here today with the high only supposed to be 62. I love it, no ac burning up petro dollars! You sure have a beautiful place to live Kevin, but when all that expanse of water is froze solid and snow covered in the winter it sure looks awful cold and desolate. Fred's bear story reminded me of the bear episode we had this summer at the cabin. I had fried fish that evening out on the porch and left the oil in the skillet on the cooker to cool and forgot to bring it in before bedtime. About one in the morning we woke up to a crash and looked out the window to see a big black bear standing up over the rail licking up all the grease he dumped out of the skillet when he knocked it and the cooker off the table. I opened the door and yelled and he took off for the woods like a shot. If the greasy mess wasn't enough, he broke my good skillet when he knocked it off the cooker! All my fault though, rule number one when you live in bear country is to never leave food outside at night, especially fishy smelling grease! Have a great day all, regardless of the weather...GB
