Looking for advice on installing a vinyl decal. I have 12" vinyl Sinclair decals I plan on putting on the doors on my Wayne 70. Do you get one shot at installing it correctly? If anyone has experience I would like to hear about it.
Thanks

I would use soapy water soultion to move around then squeegee out using a credit card with masking tape folded over the long edge so you dont scuff the sticker. It works pretty good.

When you squeegee out the soapy water or window cleaner make sure you get all of the solution & air bubbles out. Once you get it where you want it & are done with the squeegee & all of the solution is out make sure you do not touch it for a few days. This gives it time to fully dry out & seal up to the pump. Good luck & keep us posted

Tape the decal across the top with masking tape in the exact position that you want. Flip the decal up, and peel off the backing. Spray the decal and the pump, soaking it with water or water with dish soap in it. About 1 tsp per quart of water. Water-decal sticks faster and water with soap-takes a while to stick. Start by squeegeeing right down the middle then work both ways out from the middle.

I have always applied the decals to a magnetic backer. Easier to remove later IF you decide to re-brand later. Also looks more like a sign by hot gluing screw heads to decal.
