Hello, I have a nice Gilbert and Barker gas cart, one wheel has alittle rust but can easily be fixed for less the 50$ from any welder, no dents in body and it's all there, very cool everyone who sees it thinks it's the most neat thing. I'm asking 900$ and the item is located in upstate ny

I suggest you get the welder to fix, IF he will do it for $50.
Most welder won't even look at something for less than $100-200.

One wheel has a small 3-4 inch section rotted out, can be cut and welded back in, I was quoted 40-60$ for it. Thanks

How about a picture of the damage? Otherwise its a pig in a poke. Is it that wheel that looks like it has a flat? If thats the3-4" piece, thats a lot more than a fifty dollar project. Maybe if the wheel is prepped and the donor piece is ready to go and both pieces are brought to said welder at a time when he is in the actual welding mode. I could see it. Other wise I'd expect to pay a craftsman 300+ to prep, fab and weld something like this. Not to mention the hunt and cost for the proper material. And if it is a buddy, I wouldnt expect him to do it for any less. At the very least I would expect to repay the favor with my time, equipment and area of expertise. If you got the guy to fix it for fifty bucks, I agree with Dick, jump on it then try selling it or at least show some pictures of the damage.
