Then he pulled out this painted steel CONKEYS sign!!! I took a picture of it because he wanted 1000 for it??? To me that was high BUT who am I??? Has anyone EVER seen this before??? Is it 20-30's??? Was there EVER a Conkeys service station? I know you experts will know... Thanks for your help in advance! If he's wanting $1000 fror it, I'd do more research on it. There is VERY little about Conkey's on the web. phmlpn

Sold some on e-bay, some in a mall and one to a friend. We got around 200.00 apiece back then without too much hassle. I'm going to guess they are from the 50's. If you watch ebay they come up occasionally. Jim

There not that rare and are usually on eBay, east coast shows, flea markets, malls, quite a bit. But it is a PICTURE SIGN !!!!!! WOW !!!!!! Stop the world !!!!! I'd say $500 tops......
