hi:i am new here although i have been reading this page for a few months. i'm in the prosess of restoring my first pump and on the pump when i got it was a sign that was 12inches long by 9inches high.it said REGENT in white letters rimmed in red and premium ethyl in yellow. the background is blue with small stars in it, there is a man with wings wearing a w.w.1 style helmet with wings across the top. does anyone recognise this sign.what can you tell me about it. thanks. jerry

The only "Regent" with which I'm familiar was the British company which The Texas Company purchased back in the '50's. The sign which you describe doesn't sound like anything which I've ever seen, though.
