I am starting restore on my first tokheim 39 tall and I was wondering if there is supposed to be anything poking thru the side skin for what I believe is the light switch. I can poke thru the hole in the skin and activate the switch but not sure if this how it was supposed to be operated. Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Tom

That's how they work. The tok 36B has a similar switch but the shaft is longer. I suspect it was set up this way to keep non employees from have access. You can use a pencil to reach switch from outside.

if they are working correctly, they're spring liaded and work easily with a pencil
