Old Mobil station in Platte, SD. Not positive that the station has always been Mobil though. Sign frame was aluminum and resembled the 50s style lighted Sinclair sign frame but I do not know if this particular sign lights up. I like it!

I was reading my April PCM (page 22) when I came across the above sign, I think, as an example of a plastic sign that has no surviving examples. At least the sign is he same but the text is slightly confusing as it refers to a change in signs from Mobilgas to Mobil. What do you think PCM Editors?
