I have a forklift for sale on craigslist. I had a local guy call me within hours of the posting stating that he wanted it and was going to come and pay for it the next morning at 8am. Not surprised that he did not show up.

I would NEVER pull an ad for somebody before it is paid. If I have somebody who "says" they are coming to look at something, I get a time from them, if somebody else is interested, I tell them you have to wait until XXX o'clock as there is somebody on their way, I will call you back if they dont show.

That sucks,the owner should have never done that.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined our society is full of such inconsiderate & irresponsible sellers & buyers.
I never had troubles like this before Al Gore invented the internet and we bought & sold through Trad'N Times or Hemmings Motor News.
