I have been collecting for year plus now and have met some great people over the course of my collecting. I just had Mark Maxwell leave my house a bit ago and i got to say people like him and his brother make collecting FUN!!! I have made great contacts, too many to name, in this market and that is what keeps me collecting. Some of the oldgas veterans have coached me in what is good and what is junk. Thanks!

Jim Potts, you have pieced together a great site, allowing all us oil-nuts to have a place to come and create a great oily-family. So thank you for doing that not a better site to be on. CheesePitStop aint got nothing on Oldgas!!!

I know a-lot of us have different views and opinions on certain things but it is nice to have a place like this to chat and argue(sometimes).

So thanks to the oldgas community for being supportive and keeping the great gas/oil collecting alive.

Just figured i would share a few thoughts and take some time to be appreciative.

Dan

Was that the lens you needed? If so, glad everything worked out. Making contacts at the shows and here on Old Gas can really help out the collection.

Thanks for the kind words, Dan.

For me, a lot of satisfaction comes from seeing members build relationships with one another, helping each other out with constructive advice and fair deals. It is worth dealing with the rough spots as long as I see the positive networking going on with the vast majority of members.

I agree, great site and always a pleasure to browse through the forums. This is the only site, I check on a few times a day. There is always something "interesting" to get involved in on.

It's true. It's a great place and I have been fortunate enough to make some new friends and learn some new things. Thanks Jim.

Great post Dan!
I can't imagine participating in this hobby without this site and it's members!! All of it's members!
I too would like to extend my thanks to all who have helped me out. Helped me learn. And helped me learn how to teach myself about so much of the hobby.
Thanks to all!!
